Alex Fonzi

IP Attorney · Atlanta, GA

Born and raised in
Atlanta, Georgia.

I'm Alex Fonzi — an IP attorney with a background in computer science, currently practicing at Thomas | Horstemeyer in Atlanta.

I studied computer science at Georgia Tech, with a focus on artificial intelligence and theoretical computer science. After undergrad, I worked as a developer at an Atlanta-based startup, building software before shifting my focus to law.

At Vanderbilt Law School, I ran the IP Law Association, working to connect law students with the IP community across Tennessee and beyond. After graduating, I returned to Atlanta to practice patent prosecution at Thomas | Horstemeyer, where I work at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and intellectual property.

Outside of work, I'm a member of Clarkston International Bible Church, and I serve on the Board of Directors for the Wesley Foundation at Georgia Tech.
